Inter American expertly handles 65 meters blades and nacelles for Wind Power Project

Inter American has started the movement of the first pieces – 14 blades of 64.70 metres each and 10 nacelles – as part of a project with 26 Air generators that shall be set up in the Argentinean southern region for one of our key clients.

The pieces have been downloaded in a small port named San Antonio Este, located in the south coast Rio Negro Patagonia area. Due to the extreme size of pieces, it was necessary for our project team to work closely with the provincial authorities for all proper approvals and permits.
The entire project installation will provide 101.4 megawatts of power, and will cover 2240 hectares, employing over 120 people. The Pomona Wind Farm is one of the most ambitious of its kind in the region for clean energy.

This project is one of many others of this kind that Inter American cargo Group S.A is developing and taking part, in accordance with the huge investment that Argentina is conducting in energy area and production.
